A philological excursion into the nature of happiness.
And yet,
I know the one who augered fish’s guts for gold,
And when the coin was tossed Caesar’s face flashed bold.
Christ stands in this good hour making well.
The die is cast and known before it fell.
The hours that he hath stood, he hath stayed,
Each haphazard chance a stone of story laid.
And so we are happy in our common hours
for this rough and humble happenstance is ours.
Forgive my fun 🙃
Forgiven. 🤨
Happiness is good and a good. I'm just encouraging an awareness of what it means.
The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places.
