Several Takes on Macbeth Soliloquy "Tomorrow"
In the words of sportscaster Stuart Scott, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing".
Here, guys. I put this together for you. This soliloquy is one of my favorite bits of English. It doesn’t matter that it’s a bit of nihilism in the mouth of a villain. The images and rhythms are gorgeous, especially the pacing. The way the words lead us to change our pace as we speak in a way that fits the images is enormously satisfying.
Have fun with these various Tomorrow bits and bobs I’ve chosen for you.
